Neville Dickie

British pianist Neville Dickie (born in 1937) not only makes part of the best Stride experts, but is one of the very few Jazz musicians who had one of his recordings making the charts.
In the late sixties his version of "The Robin`s Return" was in the british top 50 for several weeks.
At that time he played in a honky tonk and ragtime style similar to those of Winifred Atwell and Russ Conway.

Later he changed to Stride piano, where he is one of the greatest soloist today. But he is equally at home with Dixieland, Ragtime, Blues and Boogie Woogie. He tours solo, with his own trio or with his band, the "Fabulous Rhythmakers", all over the world.

He lives in London and runs, together with his wife Pat, his own Jazz Club in Sutton.
